How do I export a session for editing?
Create a ZIP file containing session videos and a synchronized Adobe Premiere timeline when export is available.

Before you start
- Make sure you are signed in to NodeCam on the phone you are using.
- Open the correct recording session before changing settings or recording.
- If you are working with volunteers, confirm who is the session owner and who is contributing a camera angle.
Steps
- Open the session as the owner.
- Confirm the session has videos and that uploads or processing are complete.
- Find the Export Session section.
- Choose Export as ZIP.
- Wait for NodeCam to download or assemble the ZIP.
- Save the ZIP to Files or share it with the editor.
- Open the included Adobe Premiere XML timeline in Premiere when applicable.
- Verify all camera angles are present before archiving or deleting local copies.
What to expect
- The ZIP contains session videos and a Premiere XML timeline aligned using NodeCam timing data.
- Large services can take minutes to export or download.
- Only owners or users with permission can export the full session.
Common gotchas
- Export may fail if videos are still processing.
- The ZIP can be very large; use WiFi and enough device storage.
- If a camera never uploaded or transferred, it may not be included.
If you still need help
Contact NodeCam support with your session name, device model, iOS version, and a screenshot of any warning or error message. Do not delete recordings until upload, export, or transfer has been verified.
